Athletic Trainer (Fellow)

Job description

Position Function: Provide supplemental athletic training coverage for a sport as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and perform other duties as assigned. Must be a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer or eligible to sit for the BOC Exam and be able to be licensed by the State of Mississippi. Salary Grade : 09: Please see Staff Compensation Structure for salary ranges. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assist Sports Medicine Staff with the athletic training needs for sports as assigned. This includes direct team and sport coverage (home and away). 2. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the athletic training room. Ensure proper use of equipment and facilities by student-athletes, including adherence to athletic training room time schedules and proper operating procedures. 3. Assist the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine with the prevention and care of student-athlete injuries and illnesses. a.
