Compensation Amount: 17.00 USD Hourly Job Summary: The Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course under the supervision of the golf course superintendent and assistant superintendent. Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Operates some equipment used in golf course maintenance such as walking greens mowers, tee mowers, string trimmers, fly mowers, backpack blowers, push mowers, hand saws, loppers and sod knives. - Participates in annual flower planting around the properties, weed and debris clean-up in flower beds, weed removal from bunkers, cart path edging and brush projects. - Maintains equipment fluid levels such as gasoline or diesel throughout the day. - Reports equipment maintenance needs to the mechanic in a prompt manner. - Ensures that all equipment is washed properly and returned to its designated location and charging station, if applicable. - Performs bunker maintenance by raking. - Hand waters areas such as greens, tees and fairways, as needed. - Incorporates safe practices in job performance. - Performs other duties as assigned.
