Your Key Responsibilities: - Create CMM programs for new and updated prototype parts - Perform CMM layouts on prototype parts. - GD&T/Measurement expert for Prototype - Go to person for the team regarding GD&T discussions - Print discussions internally with R&D - Discussions with suppliers or customers in special cases - Measurement technology champion - Investigate and pursue new measurement technology to apply within prototype - Multiply knowledge across the team regarding new technology. - Report on stated failures and take or initiate appropriate actions. - Document results of test procedures in the systems and support interpretation. - Carry out calibration and maintain functionality of laboratory tools and equipment. - Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during testing procedures.
