Job Summary Medical Technician (Phlebotomist) — Contract Support Facility: VA Bedford Healthcare System (Office of Veteran Affairs Medical Center at VA Bedford) Positions Requested: Two (2) Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Medical Technicians (Phlebotomists) Work Location: Onsite (VA Bedford): Compensation : 27.00/hr plus 5.09 for Health Current requirement: Two (2) FTE working 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with the ability to flex to other day shifts listed above as needed). Additional Scheduling Requirements: The employee may be required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime . On-call or standby duties will NOT be required. Position Summary: The VA Bedford Medical Center currently has a shortage of Medical Technicians (Phlebotomists). The Contractor will furnish two (2) FTE Phlebotomists to provide onsite phlebotomy and specimen processing services to eligible VA beneficiaries. Services will be delivered in alignment with laboratory services typical of a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility .
