Description JOB TITLE: Community Pathways Worker, School-Based Early Support Program DEPARTMENT: Family Counseling: EXEMPTION: Non-Exempt: REPORTS TO: School Outreach Liaison: SUPERVISES: N/A: This is a Full-time non-exempt position at 35 hours per week. WHO WE ARE: Center for Family Life in Sunset Park (CFL) ( https://centerforfamilylife.org ), is a nationally recognized social service organization. CFL's mission is to promote positive outcomes for children and adults in Sunset Park, Brooklyn by providing a comprehensive range of neighborhood-based family and social services. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: This is an excellent position for someone who wants to develop their career in social work or counseling while working with families and schools. This is a new position in the School-Based Early Support Program, a new preventive services model that enhances school-based partnerships. The Community Pathways Worker provides services to 8 families at a time across four different partner schools in Brooklyn School District (15 or 20) focused on case management and referrals to needed resources.
