Job DetailsJob Location: Independent Can Co Belcamp - Belcamp, MD 21017Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $84,900.00 HourlyJob Shift: 1stSUMMARY: The Product Engineer I is responsible for the design of new and existing products. The individual must consider manufacturing capabilities, available machinery, material characteristics, quality programs, customer specifications, and can making standards throughout the process. The Product Engineer will work closely with Product Planning to ensure accurate BOMs and work centers. Commitment to and support of the Company Core Values are key to success in this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports Production, Finance, and Sales departments with technical drawings, standardized procedures, and quote estimates Prepares product drawings using Solidworks. Determines process limitations from multiple information sources to assign accurate dimensions and tolerances. Evaluates customer order requirements as well as customer drawings and specifications to support quote activities and order fulfillment.
