Job description
The Payroll Manager acts as a key business partner to HR, and multiple finance functions , ensuring full compliance with local labor law, tax and social security regulations, as well as strict payroll data protection and confidentiality requirements. A critical success factor in this role is the ability to handle highly sensitive employee data with the highest level of discretion, in line with applicable employee data protection laws and Verisk internal standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise Payroll Team including supervision, coaching, development, and workload planning. Act as a subject matter expert for payroll, tax, social security, and payroll data privacy topics Proactively partner with Business, HR, Finance, and other Finance functions to ensure payroll‑related regulations and data protection requirements are clearly understood and applied Ensure payroll systems are correctly configured and maintained in accordance with legislation, collective agreements, internal policies, and access and data security controls Oversee statutory reporting and timely payment of taxes, social security contributions, deductions, and other mandatory payments Manage statutory filin...
