IU Health Foundation is the fundraising organization that supports Indiana University Health hospitals statewide. Our mission is to leverage the power of philanthropy to support IU Health’s goal of making Indiana one of the nation’s healthiest states. This internship is offered to DePauw students only and provides an excellent introduction to the fields of healthcare, marketing, communications and nonprofit work in the largest healthcare system in Indiana. Our team is looking for a student with excellent communications, marketing, and project management skills who has an interest in philanthropy and/or healthcare. Intern responsibilities may include: Supporting the Donor Communications and Annual Fund team in building our brand through in-person and digital mediums Writing news stories and other philanthropy communications materials for a variety of platforms Graphic design to create materials for donors, potential donors, event attendees and more Capturing photography/videography to support brand storytelling materials on web and social Contributing to and maintaining communications plans and editorial calendars.
