Hybrid work environment (50% in office attendance required) 12-month fixed term contract Based in Sydney CBD: About the role: This role sits within the Essential Eight Maturity Uplift, Server Stream, responsible for uplifting the security controls on our server fleet. Reporting to the Projects Team Lead, you will work directly with Product owners, scrum master and technical teams to ensure an efficient delivery of the project deliverables. This role will require expertise in On-premises infrastructure, hybrid technologies such as Azure Arc and an understanding of cloud technology, with a strong focus on operational excellence and system reliability. About you: Solid experience administering Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) in enterprise environments with sound Redhat Linux expertise. Hands-on Azure skills: Entra ID (Azure AD) administration, Azure Portal resource management, RBAC, and identity lifecycle. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and domain services. Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., ISO/NIST/Essential Eight) and practical experience applying security baselines and controls.
