Trade Cook - Permanent Part-Time Opportunity, 36 hours / fortnight - 7.00 am to 1.30 pm - 3 days / week - Location: Onsite in Kensington; Free Parking ABOUT THE ROLE: Ngala is currently recruiting for a Permanent Part-Time Trade Cook to support the delivery of menu planning, meal preparation, food handling, serving and storage of food for children and families in a safe and hygienic manner. You will have an understanding of child development and learning, food safety standards and the importance of nutritious meals and snacks. What You’ll Do: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members. - Comply with the National Quality Standards (NQS), National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS) and Ngala Policies, Procedures and Requirements. - Provide a variety of fresh, rotational, nutritional, enjoyable and seasonal menus which meets the needs of clients - Build and maintain strong and positive relationships with colleagues and clients - Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement. - Contribute to a professional and positive work culture.
