CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a physical therapist. Demonstrate knowledge and ability to apply therapeutic principles and practices within the scope of professional limitations. Progress patients skillfully and safely through the levels of treatment within the maximum capabilities of the patient. Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress, changes in patient’s condition, or with suggestions for revisions in treatment. Documents all treatments and other pertinent patient interactions in accordance with UHealth policies. Develop and maintain effective communication with the patient, family, and other members of the rehabilitation team.
