Some things you can expect to do: Accurately read and understand construction blueprints, sketches, and plans to determine layout, dimensions, and material requirements for each project. Measure, cut, and shape lumber using hand tools (saws, chisels, planes) and power tools (table saws, miter saws, drills) to precise specifications. Build and install structural components like walls, floors, ceilings, and roof framing, ensuring proper alignment and squareness using levels, plumb bobs, and framing squares.
