Job DetailsJob Location: Hutchinson Clinic - Hutchinson, KS 67502Position Type: Full TimeJob Summary : Provides safe, quality patient care for all patients in the PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine departments located within the Radiology department. Will aid the PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine technologists with all necessary tasks required to schedule and perform exams. This role will also monitor the patient during PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine cardiac stress exams under the supervision of the Cardiology providers. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Aids the PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine technologists in performing exams. Assists patients in understanding the procedure, answering their questions, and ensuring they are comfortable before the scan. May include handling and injecting medications or radioactive isotopes. Monitor the patient during PET/CT cardiac stress exams. Includes attaching the patient to the EKG system, operating, and monitoring it during the cardiac stress test exams.
