PLC Technician - 1st Shift

Job Summary: - Must be able to work independently as necessary - Create, Modify, and test PLC code - Change ladder logic in PLC program - Setup HMI screens make changes to HMI screens - Program drives and other electronic components - This position may involve travel to Mountville branch locations. - Install, troubleshoot and repair facilities and equipment (including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems) such as mills,HVAC, roofs, chillers, boilers, pumps, motors, etc. - Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment - Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures when necessary - Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for industrial machinery or equipment and measuring instruments - Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service - Use electric meters, a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties - Initiate corrective and preventative action within the scope of your responsibility - Be a catalyst of positive change to improve mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR). - Use...
