Full time, fixed term for 12 months (possibility of extension) Help shape the responsible use of AI through expert privacy leadership HE0 9: $146,197 - $154,260 plus 17% Superannuation About the opportunity: As part of the University’s Privacy and Information Management function, the Senior Privacy Specialist (AI) plays a critical role in managing privacy risk associated with artificial intelligence, machine learning and automated decision‑making solutions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Privacy, this role supports the responsible and compliant adoption of AI across the organisation. You’ll lead and contribute to AI‑focused Privacy Impact Assessments, embed Privacy by Design and data governance controls across the AI lifecycle, and provide expert advice to project teams, system owners, researchers and business units. Working closely with ICT, Cyber Security, Risk, Legal and Research stakeholders, you’ll help ensure privacy risks are proactively identified, mitigated and managed as AI capabilities continue to expand.
