Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. As a result of continued growth, we are looking for motivated Maintenance Carpenters to join our growing team. Core Responsibilities: - Repairs: Inspects buildings for damage and repairs structures like walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and floors. - Cabinetry & Millwork: Fabricates, repairs, and installs cabinets, shelves, countertops, and finished trim. - Maintains structural components to prevent deterioration. - Install doors, pre-hang wood/steel. - Exterior Work: Repairs siding, decks, fences, and outdoor structures. - Collaboration: Coordinates with other trades (plumbers, electricians) and manages subcontractors. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Experience:3–5 years’ experience in rough and finish carpentry. - Technical Skills: Proficiency with power tools (saws, routers, grinders) and ability to read blueprints and sketches. - Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. - Valid driver’s license i...
