POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager of Professional Practice and Nursing Development, you will provide nursing clinical practice expertise with a patient-centered & evidence-informed focus to support nursing excellence corporately. In a key strategic and clinical practice leadership role, the Clinical Practice Supervisor (CPS) provides leadership, direction, and professional oversight to a dynamic staff team across all sites working closely with the programs, directors, managers and physicians. As an integral member of the Nursing Professional Practice leadership team, the CPS is an innovative clinical expert with leadership, clinical care and academic responsibilities. The Clinical Practice Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising clinical and professional practice and developing and supporting professional expertise in patient care by providing leadership and consultation, acting as a resource for staff, mentoring and coaching, monitoring performance, ensuring quality staff educational programs along with manager on-call responsibilities.
