Electrician – Copper Rod Mill

Job description

Description Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and automation systems within a copper rod mill. This role ensures optimal operation of production equipment by supporting PLC systems, drives, instrumentation, and electrical distribution systems while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. This is a Monday - Friday day shift position. Requirements: Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting: - Diagnose and repair electrical issues in production equipment, including motors, starters, relays, and power distribution systems - Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals - Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems - Troubleshoot high-voltage and low-voltage systems safely and efficiently - Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems - Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems Instrumentation: Install, calibrate, and maintain field instrumentation such as: - Temperature sensors - Pressure transmitters - Flow meters - Level sensors Equipment Support (Rod Mill Operations): - Support continuous casting machines, rolling mills, coilers, and cooling systems - Work closely with operations to...
