Full Time: Job Summary: The Patient Transporter courteously greets patients and visitors, providing service to all hospital departments by performing necessary transportation of patients, supplies, equipment, and other materials to required destinations. Minimum Education: None. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 months of hire. Work Experience: None. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of and the ability to retain material given in the required in-services. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to greet and acknowledge patients in a friendly, professional manner. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to read, write and understand instructions and safety signage. Ability to meet the physical requirements and working conditions of the job.
