PRN: Days: Minimum of 24 hours every 4 weeks. One 12-hr weekend required every 4 weeks General Summary: Performs routine and specialized diagnostic and technical radiographic procedures at an intermediate skill level. Duties and Responsibilities: - Performs radiographic examinations; obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. - Able to perform more complex operating room procedures as well as fluoroscopic and overhead procedures and more complex portable exams if applicable to the location of outpatient center. - Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. - Properly processes images using digital technology., Able to resolve exceptions in PACs and EHR systems and has the ability to cancel unnecessary orders upon request of providers(site specific) - Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. - Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures. - Evaluates recorded images for technical quality. , consistently maintains a repeat rate under 5%. - Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed. -...
