Full Stack Developer

Job description

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to support a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services. Requirements: - TS/SCI FSP Clearance - College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not Javascript or Springboot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list) - Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years) - Ability to perform schema updates - Possessing significant knowledge and experience in submitting Lucene queries - Possessing significant knowledge and experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work - Possessing significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization Desired Skills: - Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services - Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GitHub About Us: For more than 20 years, NewGen Technologies has solved our clients’ toughest IT challen...
