Full Time (80 Hours/Biweekly) Shift: Days: Monday - Friday: Weekend, holiday, call rotation as needed General Summary: Performs a variety of routine and advanced clinical diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures at an advanced skill and knowledge level. Essential Functions: - Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures. Prepares radiopharmaceuticals for administration to patients. Determines the appropriate dosage required based on the study to be performed. - Obtains patient history, reviews patient condition, and administers accurate radiopharmaceutical dosage following established departmental procedures. Monitors patients during the procedure and reports any unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel. - Checks equipment, supplies, and accessories on a regular basis. - Evaluates images for technical quality. - Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. - Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedures. - Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures. - Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department. - Introduce...
