Job description

The Summer Camp Naturalist (Outdoor Experiences Assistant) position will work primarily out of Wildwood Marina at Euclid Beach with occasional days at Garfield Park Center and must be willing to travel between locations. The camp will include serving lunches, kayaking, beach time, and other outdoor activities. Euclid is a vibrant community, and this unique summer camp experience is bringing kids with little to no nature experience into the wonderful world of STEM and the great outdoors! Successful candidates will make core memories with an underserved community on the daily and must be willing to get wet and muddy with the goal of giving camp kids a safe and extraordinary experience. - Provides outdoor recreation and educational programs that serve to enhance Cleveland Metroparks conservation, education and outdoor recreation mission and to promote environmental education and stewardship. - Assists with outdoor recreation and environmental education programs within the park district and at off-site locations. - Participates in special events or projects as assigned. - Demonstrated organizational skills including verbal communication, problem solving, and conflict management. - Driv...
