Mill Environmental Manager

Job description

Desired Experience: - At least five (5) years of environmental experience at the facility or broader level in environmental management or engineering, preferably in wood products manufacturing. State or Federal Agency experience would also be equivalent. A four year degree graduate, with a Masters being optimal. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for all levels within the organization, and able to perform and work in a team-based atmosphere, driving continual environmental improvements and program excellence. - Deep understanding of applicable federal and state environmental regulatory programs and permitting; including air quality regulations (Title V, PSD, NESHAPs, Boiler MACT, etc.), NPDES wastewater and stormwater; spill prevention control and countermeasures (SPCC), SARA 312/313, waste management, potable water, and TSCA. - Experience with Construction Permitting processes within the air and water compliance disciplines, including expansion and project management. - Background in the development of sustainable and standardized controls through the application of a highly functional Environmental Management System (EMS). - Working knowledge of emissions controls (...
