Position Summary The Hair Assistant responsibilities include performing shampoo and conditioning treatments, sanitizing, maintaining cleanliness of salon areas and equipment, laundry, and providing a comfortable experience for clients. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Shampooing and conditioning clients: Blow-drying clients (when necessary): Sweeping salon floor and light cleaning to maintain salon’s appearance Helping prepare guests for service: Ensuring guests are comfortable, offering beverages, etc Attends and participates in continuing education and training in order to follow new trends and techniques Preferred Qualifications: Cosmetology License: Customer Service Skills: Pay: This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.00 and pays up to $19.00, based on experience and qualifications.
