Job description

Producing: - Enterprise, research, and develop compelling news stories. - Gather information by identifying, interviewing, and recording sources. - Shoot and edit video for broadcast and digital platforms using professional camera and editing equipment. - Write stories for broadcast and digital that are accurate, clear, engaging, and deadline‑driven. - Collaborate effectively with newsroom staff. - Deliver live reports from the field, newsroom, or studio. - Meet all deadlines and complete assignments on time. - Maintain professional standards for wardrobe, hair, and cosmetics appropriate for on‑air appearances. - Work closely with the assignment desk to plan and build weekend newscasts. - Select, write, organize, and time stories for live broadcasts. - Make editorial decisions regarding content, story order, and story length. - Ensure all newscast elements are accurate and complete, including scripts, graphics, video lists, and name keys. - Meet production deadlines to support coordination with technical and creative teams. - Work with reporters in the field to coordinate coverage and help to ensure reporter scripts are accurate and informative. - Collaborate with the director and...
