Job DetailsJob Location: PRIDE - ELIZABETH CITY CLINIC - ELIZABETH CITY, NC 27909Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DaysPsychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practioner (PMHNP) The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides medical care to all age groups in accordance with the State of North Carolina and of Licensing and professional scope of practice. In addition, the Nurse provides diagnostic and therapeutic psychiatric services to Pride in North Carolina, LLC., consumers/ patients, while making reasonable and sound Psychological/psychiatric assessments and treatment plans. They must work closely with the Agency Medical Director, consumer’s natural supports, other clinical staff, and community agencies. This position requires the ability to work in a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families to gain the skills and confidence to address any issues and problems they face. They are required to attend and participate in meetings on behalf of the company and the consumer, conduct weekly supervisory meetings with the team, and participate in clinical training events and meetings as required by the Clinical Director and/or Medical Director.
