POSITION TITLE : Education Department Practicum Student STATUS : Unpaid Practicum Position, 10-20 hours a week REPORTS TO : Education Coordinator Must have or obtain the COVID Vaccine! POSITION SUMMARY Under the leadership and direction of the Education Department, this position shall conduct multi-subject Evidence Based Education, for various populations including but not limited to students in grades K-12 , technical schools, colleges and universities, youth-serving organizations, parent groups, religious organizations, individuals and groups with varying disabilities, youth in the Teen Advocates for Sexual Health (TASH) program, and other populations. The practicum student will also be responsible for participating in community outreach; providing support to the maintenance of education materials & library; and furthering the integration and appreciation of diversity and inclusion in and for the department. This position requires a mandatory two-day training at the beginning of the practicum, and additional trainings throughout the course of the practicum such as the INclued curriculum.
