Position Description The Retail Market Development (RMD) team is part of the ‘DMSO Design’ pillar within DMSO (Distribution Markets & System Operation). The key role of DMSO Design is to develop integrated designs for ESB Networks’ DMSO organisation. The Retail Market Development team is a high-performing team with key responsibilities including supporting ESB Networks’ activities in the Retail Market, facilitating effective business decision-making, influencing regulatory policy, developing and accessing market designs, delivering and supporting retail market–impacting projects, and ensuring the availability of retail market IT systems. The Retail Market Specialist has a key role within the Retail Market Development team and provides the opportunity to support the various services delivered by the team, including those related to systems that support the Retail Electricity Market. This role facilitates the development of broad knowledge and experience across all aspects of the retail electricity market.
