IT Program Manager/Program Management Director

Job description

The IT program director helps govern the planning and execution of information technology projects while also maintaining quality controls over technology decisions. While leading a technical team including IT program managers, this role is responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders and project managers to meet scope, timeline, and budget expectations. Provides oversight and connections from the project to other technology groups and the security team as needed. Accurately articulates milestone progress and speaks to executive leadership teams regarding project risks and issues. Develops and maintains quality assurance standards for information technology. Evaluates new requirements as well as upcoming risks to determine mitigation strategies and escalation needs to maintain project execution plans. Provides leadership and guidance to a group of direct reports, including IT program management resources. Coordinates technology needs and decisions for assigned projects with other technology groups and stakeholders.
