Director of Machine Shop Department: Manufacturing - Machine Shop: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Columbia, PA - Plant: Reporting To: Hans Sowrey: Description: ASC is looking for a Machine Shop Director , who will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the machine shop within our foundry in Columbia PA. This role oversees all machining activities, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. The Director will lead a team of machinists, programmers, and maintenance personnel, driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing the utilization of our advanced machinery, including Allen Bradley, CNC, and Rockwell Automation machines. This position requires a strong technical background in machining, proven leadership skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes within a foundry setting.
