Responsibilities: As the Journeyman Equipment Mechanic, you will perform, arrange for, track and oversee the repair of small and large distribution utility equipment including gas and diesel powered, hydraulically operated digger/derricks, personnel buckets and other construction equipment with minimum supervision. You will have a focus and make priority cost efficient and limiting end user down time. Input maintenance records in a computer based maintenance system. Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED. - Must have training and/or be an experienced a qualified automotive or mechanized construction equipment mechanic. - Successful completion of standardized qualifying examination. - Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and focus on job scheduling. - Must be a self starter and self motivated. - Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of employment which includes completed written and driving tests.
