TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES: Job Title: Electrical Engineering Internship Name Department/Group: 08 / NFT Engineering Reports To: Engineering Manager Location: PSC – Golden, CO Percent Travel Required: 5% Salary/Hourly: Hourly Position Type: Non-Exempt Position Summary: Assist engineering in all phases of the design, development, production, testing, operation, and maintenance of electrical equipment, tools, and industrial machinery while conforming to NQA-1 requirements. Provide assistance to the Engineering Manager on projects related to the production of PSC products. Job Description: Essential Job Functions: - Review project drawings/instructions to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions, such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies - Design/draft detail drawings using CAD (i.e., AutoCAD, KiCAD, etc.) - Fabricate modified prototype components using electrical subcomponents (i.e., contacts, terminals, wiring, etc.) Product Support: - Continue to provide technical support on projects to PSC Engineers under the guidance of the Engineering Manager...
