Role description: Arcadis seeks a Resident Engineer (RE) to join our team in Los Angeles to perform a wide variety of professional engineering work in either a field or office setting. The ARE is directly responsible for the administration of construction contracts and reviews the work of LACMTA, State, and contractor forces in accordance with the Caltrans Construction Manual and all governing specifications. The RE reviews the progress of the work to ensure compliance with the contract documents. This will include progressive monitoring of materials and methods used as well as inspection of the finished products before acceptance.
