Cake Decorator - Would also spend time working in the deli as this position requires working in both departments Department: Deli/Grocery Job Status : Full Time FLSA Status : Non-Exempt Reports To : Deli Manager Grade/Level : High School or GED Amount of Travel Required : No travel required Work Schedule: Positions Supervised : None Sunday - Saturday: 7:00 a.m.- 6:00p.m. POSITION SUMMARY: - Assemble and prepare cakes (or ready to decorate cakes may be used), including decorating with icing, gel, drawings, decorating kits, air brush, edible images and letterings. Ensure all cakes meet standards of quality and excellence. - Assisting in the deli frying chicken, preparing hot bar, waiting on customers, slicing meats and cheeses, preparing trays, etc. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepare and decorate cake products according to customer specifications and all applicable standards and procedures. Properly and safely operate and maintain cake equipment while following all health and safety standards.
