Key Accountabilities: - Assist in the servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling of engines, propulsion systems and their electronic systems - Perform all duties in a safe, respectful and organized manner, adhering to all safety guidelines and in accordance with RRS Code of Conduct - Analyze technical data - Plan, prepare and request all parts and tools to perform job functions - Asses and plan scope of work to ensure deadlines are met - Maintain a clean and safe work area - Maintain detailed records of daily activities - Write thorough, detailed reports at job completion - Maintain mtu engine, vessel and equipment logs - Commission and operate engines and propulsion systems - Train/demonstrate maintenance, safe operation and shutdown of mtu equipment to customer - Instrument propulsion systems and record test data - Inspect parts to assure conformance to specification - Work with product groups on produ...
