Senior Business Analyst

Job description

The Senior Business Analyst role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and designing technology-based business solutions to solve complex business problems. They work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business processes, workflows, data models, and other system artifacts. This role identifies opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements and is responsible for developing functional and technical specifications that define system requirements and articulate how systems will meet business goals. The incumbent is also responsible for applying system settings and options, as well as planning and executing testing to ensure new or modified systems meet business requirements. The incumbent is knowledgeable of software development lifecycle methodologies and has a strong understanding of system testing and quality assurance principles. They have experience with database management, SQL, web development technologies, and packaged software applications.
