Job Title Tufting Process Engineer Position Overview: Shaw Industries is hiring a Process Engineer in the Tufting Department. This position is responsible for continuously improving the Safety, Quality, and Productivity of the Tufting Department at Plant 04 . T he Process Engineer will s erve the Tufting Department by assisting with the day-to-day management and implementation of the department's requirements within the carpet manufacturing process . This includes providing leadership and direction for Safety Initiatives, Quality Improvement Teams, Reliability Teams, and Process Improvement Teams. The position provides technical assistance to department supervisors, hourly associates & internal customers daily, and provides support to the Tufting Manager. Responsibilities: Act as liaison between the Department Manager and department employees by providing effective lines of communication within the department. Monitor all departmental production, quality, processes, and procedures. Ensure all departmental SMS procedures and instructions are followed.
