Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Electrician for a local client in Washington, PA. What you’ll do: This position is responsible for the maintenance, trouble shooting and advanced mechanical repair of machinery used to produce commercial electrical products. Additionally, the Electrician is required to prove competency in operation and repair of production equipment as assigned, including but not limited to the automated production lines, clampers, tappers, screwdrivers, coilers, flatteners, air slides, conveyors, carton packing machines, and power presses. Qualifications: - Troubleshoot production and other equipment - Maintain equipment and performance of the required day-to-day tasks - Perform welder, production line and equipment changeovers, including assisting with loading steel coils on automated lines - Assist with removal and replacement of failed mechanical components - Assist and/or lead Power Press inspections and daily equipment preventive maintenance - Troubleshoot 3 phase power and control systems for automated press equipment - Troubleshoot Drive systems for automated Coilers, Flatteners, welders, and Presses - Troubleshoot electrical components...
