As a PET & Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment (Gamma cameras) to create diagnostic images of a patient's body. This role prepares radioactive drugs and administers them to the patient, usually through an intravenous line, and prepare the exam for analysis through post processing and image enhancement. Ensure safety of both patients and team members by strictly adhering to all state and federal guidelines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (90%) Gamma Camera Diagnostic Imaging (10%) Other Duties as Assigned - Performs high quality diagnostic studies according to RAYUS protocols - Clearly and patiently explain the procedure to the patient and answer their questions - Assist the interpreting physician with the most accurate diagnosis in identifying any underlying pathology and/or abnormalities. - Proficiently perfor...
