Civil/Water Wastewater Engineer

STV’s Austin, TX location is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Water Practice Group. STV specializes in the planning, organization, and development of engineering activities for the design, construction, and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities and pipelines. Our engineers work on high quality, high-profile, national, and international projects. As a Water/Wastewater Engineer, you will actively participate in the full project cycle, from the design phase through the final construction close-out. In this position you will perform engineering design tasks to support the Project Team in the execution and delivery of water and wastewater projects. Responsibilities include: - Production of contract documents including plans and specifications - Perform pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations. - Perform pump calculations and develop system curves for sizing pumps. - Prepares construction and design cost estimates. - Develop project specifications. - Perform engineering duties in planning and designing water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems. - Responsible for or willingness to learn project management, client interface and bus...
