Developer II - Full Stack Python Developer (Equities Investment Technology)

Job description

Neuberger is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Equities Technology team. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications that support our equities investment strategies. This is an excellent opportunity to grow across the stack at the intersection of finance and technology with a focus on generative-AI technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance applications that support trading, portfolio management, and analytics for equities investment teams. Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI as primary framework) Work across the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code using Python (Fast API) and React/TypeScript Implement unit, integration, and data tests; apply TDD where appropriate.
