Starting Wage: $16.00/hr. Job Summary: Active participant in the Natural Resources Summer Youth Crew project. Efficiently complete a variety of natural resource related projects. This position is partially grant funded. Qualifications: - Participates in day-to-day details of crew life at work and in camp. - Contributes to a physically and emotionally safe work site. - Efficiently completes conservation projects. - Participates in Environmental and Life Skills Curriculum via formal and informal lessons. - Safely processes and packages Pacific Lamprey. - Safely operates hand tools while wearing proper personal protective equipment. - Performs a variety of other duties as assigned by supervisor. - A desire to work in the natural resources field. - Must be between the age of 15 and 18 years of age. - Must be in good physical condition and be able to work in rugged outdoor terrain. - Experience in the proper use of hand tools preferred. - Must have good communication skills. - Must supply your own work boots. - Must be able to work under adverse conditions, during days and nights and on weekends. - Ability to exercise common sense and self-initiative to carry out instructions furnished...
