Controls Designer (Autocad Electrical)

Job description

Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills): - 2-5+ years of related experience. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as construction drawings, singlelines, product manuals, control drawings, work instructions, written directions,and markups to electrical/control drawings. - Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with a desire for continuous improvement. - Detail-oriented and accurate and a positive can-do attitude. - Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including collaborating with other teams. - Occasionally required to inspect products in-progress in manufacturing. - Proficient with 2-D [AutoDesk] AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent software. - Proficient with MS Office applications. - Knowledgeable of UL, NEC, and NFPA 79 standards. - Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa sponsorship. - Candidate must currently live within commutable distance to our office in Durham.
