About the opportunity: The Clinical Quality Specialist supports Vail Health’s Quality department, leaders, staff, and providers in improving health outcomes for the patients served and advancing overall health care quality throughout the Vail Health system. The Clinical Quality Specialist utilizes the eight domains included in the National Association of Healthcare Quality’s (NAHQ’s) competency framework to guide these efforts and achieve the quality goals of the organization. These domains include professional engagement, quality integration, performance and process improvement, population health and care transitions, health data analytics, patient safety, regulatory and accreditation, and quality review and accountability.
