Position: Custodian Wage: $ 17.30 to $18.80 per hour, depending on qualifications Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week- 6pm-11pm Location: Tom Taylor Family YMCA, Gig Harbor, WA As a Custodian, you will create and maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary facility for all members to enjoy. If hired for this position, you will be responsible for duties such as cleaning, sanitizing, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Qualifications: - Ability to learn and safely operate equipment required to perform assigned tasks. - Ability to learn and follow proper cleaning procedures and techniques for facility maintenance. - Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other written materials. - Ability to report, document, and track maintenance and repair requests. - Knowledge of cleaning methods and the use of custodial, maintenance, and basic office equipment. - Basic understanding of proper care, upkeep, and handling of equipment. - Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act). - You are committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. - Able and...
