The University of Maine at Farmington (UMF) is seeking energetic and versatile applicants for Residential Advisors that will support our Upward Bound Summer 2026 program. This is a live-in, temporary position. Residential Advisors provide direct support to Upward Bound participants residing in the residence hall. This immersive role requires participation in every aspect of the summer program, including constant overnight supervision and resides in the dorm during the week. Residential employees work a maximum of 7 weeks, including a staff training week, living in the residence hall Sunday night through Thursday afternoon. The weekly rate of pay for this position is $528 (based on 32 hours). Key Responsibilities: Programming & Facilitation: Plans and facilitates daily activities focused on academics, careers, wellness, and personal development. Delivers the Upward Bound Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum through weekly advisor group sessions. Organizes and leads daily wellness activities.
