Store Clerk-NE_Thrift Store Department-401 Position: Store Clerk: Employer: Salvation Army Thrift Store: Minimum Qualifications: Must have a GED or high school diploma And three months prior customer service or retail experience, Or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Valid Texas state driver’s license. Physical Requirements: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Duties are usually performed standing. Moderate physical effort required associated with sitting, walking, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) frequently. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a Store where there are some physical discomforts associated with changes in weather, or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
