Organizational Unit: Select Genetics Department: Transportation Reports To: Transportation Manager Location: Goldsboro NC FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Purpose: This position is responsible for transporting day old poults and egg delivery in a timely and safe manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Select Genetics presents a solid platform to serve customers on a national and international scale by providing quality poults, service, and innovation. Select Genetics is the leading supplier of poults and eggs to growers and companies across the world and has operations in eight US States. The position reports to and is supervised by the Transportation Manager. Class A CDL Driver responsibilities include but not limited to: - Maintaining a license to drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs. - Meeting all requirements of Department of Transportation (DOT) at all times. - Operating and prioritizing safety rules and standards while driving your assigned vehicle. - Performing pick-up, unload, and safe transport for day old poults or eggs while handling all Company information with complete confidentiality. - Maintaining a clean vehicle in order to uphold...
