Engineer Senior Location: 8400 Smith’s Mill Rd, New Albany, OH 43054 Work Designation: Onsite Job Description What you'll do: - Work on Fault Analysis team that conducts engineering analyses during system outages to enhance customer satisfaction and review all bulk electric system outages across the system to assess whether operations operated correctly. - Identify root causes of system failures or malfunctions by examining data, conducting investigations, and utilizing analytical techniques to pinpoint protective relay issues on the Bulk Electric System. - Review oscillography from protective relay schemes to determine fault type, fault duration, fault magnitudes, and whether the substation protective relaying operated as designed. - Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of faults and incidents, including detailed sequences of events for future reference and analysis. - Ensure that the analysis and reporting processes meet regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards. - Work closely with engineering and operations teams to share findings and recommend i...
